Each year the Virginia Beach Surfers Healing Team puts Surfers Healing together. Each year is bigger and better than the last. It can’t be done without the tremendous “sea of support” we receive from our community partners and sponsors. There are many sponsorship opportunities available. Every donation – even purchasing a case of water – has a huge impact. This event is proud of its grass roots – yet needs to grow. Camp participation has more than doubled since our start in 2005. The simple fact that 1 out of 150 children are diagnosed with Autism each year proves that resources and outlets such as Surfers Healing are needed within this large, yet tight knit community.

Saturday, August 16th, Surfers Healing Surf Camp kicks off at 9am,
immediately following the 5K on the beach. Come on down and cheer the surfers on as they ride the waves in and feel the incredibly calming power of the sea! Surfing runs from 9am until 3pm and will take place between 4th and 5th Streets.
